Over half way on a Janathon Journey

Share
Norman Tower Bury St Edmunds
I enjoy a run around the town centre of Bury St Edmunds especially on a Sunday morning when there is little traffic.  It feels as if you have the town to yourself whilst most people are still in bed.

It is great to get the daily Janathon run in early in the day and not have it hanging in the back of your mind knowing that at some point you have to fit it in . It becomes a chore then rather than an enjoyment.

This morning was warm and spring like and I didn't need any tracksters leggings so just shorts and a long sleeved shirt.

After 16 days of running I am averaging around 4 miles a day. Just 15 days to go and whilst the end isn't in site we have passed a landmark in our journey and having come this far I am determined to complete the event as long as I remain injury free and don't have an illness.

Day 1 - 5 miles
Day 2 - 5 miles
Day 3 - 4 miles
Day 4 - 4 miles
Day 5 - 3 miles
Day 6 - 2.52 miles
Day 7 - 7 miles
Day 8 - 3.5 miles
Day 9 - 2 miles
Day 10 - 4 miles
Day 11 - 4 miles
Day 12 - 8 miles
Day 13 - 3 miles
Day 14 - 4 miles
Day 15 - 3 miles
Day 16 - 4 miles

Total 66 miles

Early is always best, you see more wildlife and less humans always a plus
